New hotel and parkade projects aim to enhance YLW facilities and services.
Kelowna International Airport is initiating two major projects: The Sutton Place Hotel Kelowna and a 1,000-stall parkade, which are expected to significantly enhance its facilities.
The Sutton Place Hotel Kelowna represents a $100 million private investment. Operated by Northland Properties, the luxury hotel will feature business conference facilities, an indoor leisure and fitness center, full-service valet, and concierge services. Guests can also enjoy an onsite restaurant and a viewing lounge with stunning views.
Additionally, a new 1,000-stall parkade is being constructed with a $55 million private investment, aimed at increasing parking capacity and providing the option for covered spots, enhancing convenience for airport passengers.
These developments underscore the airport’s growth and modernization, highlighting its commitment to providing top-tier services and facilities. The projects are expected to complete in 2027 and 2028 for the parkade and hotel, respectively.
