Temporary closures to facilitate paving in Kelowna set to begin June 17.
Beginning Tuesday, June 17 to Wednesday, June 25, multiple roads in Kelowna will be closed to through traffic for paving as part of the City’s road renewal program, weather permitting.
The closures will affect Ambrosi Rd. (between 1851 Ambrosi Rd. to Springfield Rd.), Agassiz Rd. (between Ambrosi Rd. to Barlee Rd.), and Vasile Rd. (between 2142 Vasile Rd. to Harvey Ave.).
To accommodate weekend traffic, the roads will re-open Friday, June 20 at 4 p.m., and will remain accessible until Monday, June 23 at 7 a.m.
Access during construction will be limited to residents and businesses in the area, and no on-street parking will be allowed during construction hours.
The city urges drivers to follow instructions from safety personnel, adhere to posted construction signage, and respect all fencing to ensure safety.
The City of Kelowna and onsite crews thank residents for their patience and apologize in advance for any inconvenience caused by the construction.
