Lane reductions and road closures scheduled as part of bridge replacement project.

Beginning Monday, July 21, K.L.O. Road will be reduced to single lane alternating traffic between Como Road and Leader Road from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for approximately four days.

Motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians should anticipate delays and may prefer to take alternate routes when feasible.

Following the lane reduction, Como Road will be closed between Polo Road and K.L.O. Road for about five days, with a detour available via Leader Road.

This construction is part of the K.L.O. Road Bridge Replacement Project, which includes replacing the bridge, enhancing the surrounding area, and adding a roundabout to improve traffic flow, increase intersection safety, and support active transportation options to ensure a secure connection to Southeast Kelowna.

Travelers are advised to follow safety personnel instructions and posted signage to ensure safety when commuting in the area.

The City of Kelowna and the crews working on-site appreciate your patience during construction and apologize for any inconvenience.
