City seeks community feedback on new and improved park designs in Rutland area.
Residents of Rutland have until July 13 to voice their opinions on the design of two park projects. Aurora Park, a new addition, and Rutland Lions Park, set for enhancements, are the focus of community engagement efforts.
Keith Pinkoski, Senior Project Landscape Architect, emphasized the value of parks in fostering health and community identity, urging residents to partake in shaping the future of these spaces.
Community members are invited to visit the website getinvolved.kelowna.ca/parks to learn more and fill out surveys for one or both parks.
Additionally, an opportunity to discuss the projects and meet the project team will be available at the Rutland Residents Celebration.
The celebration will be held at Rutland Centennial Park, 250 Rutland Rd N, on Sunday, June 22, from noon to 4 p.m.
