Motorists in Kelowna advised of road closures due to half-marathon this Saturday.

The Kelowna Wine Country Half Marathon is scheduled for Saturday, June 14, with a starting point at The Vibrant Vine Winery and finishing on the lakefront promenade outside the Delta Grand Okanagan Hotel.

Road closures and traffic control measures will be enforced in southeast Kelowna beginning at 6 a.m. Half-marathon participants will start their race at 7 a.m., making their way from The Vibrant Vine Winery onto Pooley Road with traffic temporarily held by flaggers.

The race course encompasses several roads, including Bemrose, Reekie, Hart, Spiers, Todd, Saucier, and Bedford, leading to the Casorso and Swamp Roads roundabout. Runners will access the Mission Creek Greenway and continue to the lakefront via Lakeshore Road, Groves Ave, and Abbott Streets.
