Wildfire preparedness and response are at their best when everyone contributes. Our city’s firefighters and first responders are always ready to protect communities from wildfires—now it’s your turn to join in.

Bylands Garden Centre will host a free event on Friday, June 13, providing tips on landscaping to both prevent wildfires and conserve water. Learn how to safeguard your home, enhance your garden, and ensure community safety.

Everyone is welcome to this public gathering. Visitors can engage with local fire prevention, water conservation, and gardening professionals.

Specialists attending include a Kelowna Fire Department Wildfire Mitigation Specialist, a local FireSmart representative, friendly Water Smart advisors, and knowledgeable Bylands staff.
