Kelowna customers urged to switch to eBilling amid potential postal strike.

Utility customers, homeowners, and business owners in Kelowna may soon experience disruptions in receiving their bills by mail.

The Canadian Union of Postal Workers and Canada Post have until May 22 to agree on a new contract. Failure to do so could reignite a strike that previously paused mail services for an extended period during the last holiday season.

To circumvent potential delivery delays and avoid late fees, Kelowna residents are encouraged to register for eBilling. This service is complimentary, ensuring uninterrupted access to your utility bills, property tax notices, and business license invoices.

Residents can visit billing.kelowna.ca to establish a Property Account, enabling them to manage all City of Kelowna bills online.

For those already possessing a Property Account, it is recommended to log in and opt for eBilling without delay.

Additional information can be found at kelowna.ca/payonline.
