City of Kelowna calls for resident input on urban development projects before Monday deadline.

The City of Kelowna is asking residents to provide their input on two new projects designed to enhance the quality of life in urban areas.

Residents have until Monday to contribute their opinions, affecting the future of Kelowna’s five largest neighborhoods and zoning plans around key Transit Supportive Corridors.

The 2040 Official Community Plan places Urban Centres as focal points of activity promoting residential, work, and recreational life, aligning with the city’s continued growth and diverse usage.

Transit Supportive Corridors will offer critical connections to Kelowna’s Urban Centres, fostering housing diversity, mixed-use areas, and improved transit options.

Public feedback is sought on what residents currently value and their future priorities, including investments and transit corridor designs.

Community input, paired with technical analysis, established policies, and financial feasibility, will shape the final project recommendations.

Residents can find detailed information, participate in surveys, and view community insights by visiting the ‘Get Involved’ platform before April 14.
