Annual event aims to strengthen local non-profit organizations through engagement and learning.

Kelowna’s thriving not-for-profit organizations are a testament to the dedication and hard work of the people behind them.

To support this important sector, board members, directors, staff, and volunteers from the Okanagan and beyond are invited to the 3rd annual Inspired City Summit on April 5 at the Coast Capri Hotel.

This conference, supported by United Way, First West Credit Union, Central Okanagan Foundation, and EQ Development Group, offers a day of peer connection, learning through workshops, presentations, panel discussions, and networking sessions tailored to address the unique challenges faced by non-profit organizations.

This year’s summit, themed EVOLVE, will kick off with a morning mixer, followed by a keynote from TEDx Speaker Matteo Stewart. The afternoon features 15 unique sessions and ends with a networking event.

Sara Thirnbeck, Community Development Coordinator and organizer, expressed excitement about the session lineup, emphasizing the value for both small grassroots and large organizations.

Tickets are limited and priced at $75 per participant, which includes lunch.

Christine McWillis, Cultural Services Manager, highlighted the summit as an annual opportunity for over 200 local non-profit leaders and community builders to enhance their capacity, forge partnerships, and explore new opportunities.
